Nurses At Home's healthcare niche is the provision of alternate site patient care in a post hospitalization environment. Our service capabilities allow us to offer solutions that bring convenience and direct cost reductions for those paying for the medical care such as self-pay patients and insurance companies.

Our services are delivered through the following options:

1. Home Visit Plans - Depending on the need of the patient a registered nurse or a Personal Carer can conduct 1 hour visits at a period specified by the client to care for and nurse patients. This is particularly suitable for patients who need wound management, procedures such as feeding tube changes, catheter changes and even elderly care allowing for morning hygenie activities etc. These services are offered in 5 visit packages.
   
   
2. Personal Care plans - When patients need extended hours or continuous care - for example bed ridden patients, patients unable to be left alone on their own etc, the services of Personal Carers can be used to provide care over the periods the client requires this service. These services are offered in weekly and monthly packages.

Generally, the range of nursing care required by homebound clients with
medical conditions includes:

a) post-surgical management - administration of injections, care of central venous line,
    tracheotomy or drainage tubes.

b) wound management.

c) maintenance of urinary catheters and drainage tubes.

d) stoma care - colostomy and ileostomy care.

e) pain management.

f) insertion of nasogastric tube and tube feeding

g) assistance with bowel elimination - enema

h) monitoring of client's medical condition eg. Blood pressure and blood sugar checks.

i) health education for the elderly/family/caregiver.

j) assistance in activities of daily living/elderly care/palliative care.

k) physiotherapy

We also provide rental of equipment upon request e.g. Oxygen Concentrators
